A Simple Summer Bible Study
Encounters with Jesus
Family devotion time can feel overwhelming, and many parents simply do not know where to begin. This month, I have created a FREE 4-week Bible Study Guide through the Gospel of John for you to use with your kids.
With just one lesson a week, this guide is meant to be short and manageable, with each lesson broken down into three sections:
Babies & Preschoolers | Elementary Age | Preteens
Each lesson includes:
A passage to read
A short introduction to the passage
Questions and guided discussions for each age group
All you need to do is set aside 10 minutes once a week. Read the passage, answer the questions, and discuss. It is that simple!

This Summer Guide is a preview of something bigger coming this Fall: simple, structured Bible studies designed to help families build rhythms of faith at home.
My prayer is that this guide helps you spend meaningful time with God together as a family this Summer as you study Jesus’ encounters with ordinary people.
Here is a sample from the first lesson.
Next Week: Faithful Dads

Thank you! I was praying where to start last night with my son and husband and the Lord lead me to the book of John. It's awesome your study is in the same book! The last time my family got together for Bible reading was your Easter study, which, we never fully finished because my son had basketball practice, homework, and even a game that week. We finally finished the Thursday activity this past Sunday where we pinned our sins to the cross. I'm looking forward to this study. My son likes to see what we're going to do, so the printouts are handy. We are working on a 1,000 piece puzzle on the kitchen table right now, so it's a great time to slide in a short study beforehand as everyone is together and no one is on a device.
Thank you for sharing. Im definitely being more intentional about making sure our dont just have a great relationship with God but having then be deeply rooted in the Word also
