In a world that often feels uncertain, pointing children back to the hope found in Christ's promises is such a powerful foundation. I also liked the reminder that we don't have to have every answer before opening Scripture together. Sometimes the most meaningful discipleship happens simply by learning alongside our children.
This is so true! It’s ok to say, “I don’t know” and then discover the answers together. Our children should never think we have it all figured out and should see us learning alongside them.
I appreciated how you kept bringing this conversation back to Jesus rather than prophetic timelines or winning theological debates. Children do not need us to have every detail figured out before we open Scripture with them. They need to know that Jesus is faithful, His promises are trustworthy, and the brokenness they see around them will not have the final word.
I especially loved the reminder that our goal is to raise children who love Jesus and eagerly anticipate Him—not children who are merely able to explain every future event. When the conversation is grounded in relationship and hope rather than fear, His return truly becomes good news.

So true. I’ve found that if we listen to our kids and hear what they are actually learning…we will become more aware and better communicators that help them actually learn and live out the things we are trying to instill in them.

I'm a grandma who's feeling hopeful about being raptured along with my family and others. (I'm concerned about people being deceived into taking the mark of the beast/antichrist thinking he's God.) I know during the rapture the dead will rise first to meet our Lord Jesus in the clouds and then we who are believers will rise next. I'm confused about the timeline/difference between the rapture and when Jesus Christ comes back to reign on earth for 1000 year's. I need to study more. God's word is so good because he's so good! PEACE AND BLESSINGS TO ALL

Habitually making Jesus first last and best in everything is the outgrowth of an inward miracle.
It must be our life's study to think, speak and behave as if we were in the Presence of the Prince of peace.
Joy and peace from Jesus in our lives are contagions that will motivate our children to:
"Search the Scriptures..." Because "... they are they which testify of..." Jesus." (John 5:39)

The best thing we can do no matter our beliefs about the end times is boldly proclaim the gospel to those love that they may come to know Jesus.
