This right here is wisdom: “Sometimes the person struggling the most with these transitions is the parent, and not the child.”

How often is it us projecting anxieties onto our resilient kids. Lord give us resilience and wisdom and tact as parents.

Great reminder Matt. Thank you for your ministry.

This year we have transitions with all our our children. Eldest entering first year of college, middle entering high school, and for the first time the youngest will be attending school without his sister. Needless to say, I've cried over the course of a few months because I am the parent that struggles with transitions.

The eldest was originally planning to live on campus, but changed her mind and chose to stay home. I'm a happy mama.

The Lord does use my children to minister to me in those moments. They hold my hand and tell me not to worry🥹
